Why should I rent a DREAM HOME?

In three words - Quality, Value, and Service! Our private pool homes, townhomes with splash pools, and condos are beautifully decorated and fully appointed. The location is superb - the closest vacation homes to Disney World Resorts. The value is phenomenal, not only compared to other rental homes but also compared to even lower priced hotels. However, the biggest advantage to our homes and condos is the service we provide. Whether you are booking from one of our knowledgeable Rental Agents, or arriving in Orlando late at night and concerned about your vacation arrangements, we are here for you. 24 hours/day, 7 days/week you can reach someone who is less than 10 minutes from your vacation DREAM HOME.

How do I make a reservation?

There are many ways. The fastest, simplest way is to go to our reservations page, and complete the form. On the reservations page, you have the option of submitting your information to receive a quote, printing out your information to send it with a check for $100, or reserving directly online by providing us with your credit card information on our secure server. If you have been working with one of our Rental Agents, please be sure to give us their name so we may properly credit them!

What If I need to cancel?

If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you forfeit your deposit, but will not be charged the balance of your account. We regret we are unable to refund trips paid in full within 30 days of your scheduled arrival for any reason. Therefore we highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance (see below).

What is Travel Insurance?

Because vacations can be disrupted for a variety of reasons including (but not limited to) emergencies, death, airline delays & disruptions, illness and bad weather we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance at the time of your reservation. Insurance can usually be secured from an independent agency at 6%-7% of your total reservation.

How do I know you will have a beautiful home for me?

First of all, because our company is built on the foundation of honesty and integrity, we will not rent a home or condo to you in which we would not want to stay ourselves. However, like any property there are times when things malfunction or something happens beyond our control. Therefore, we offer you this guarantee, if you are not happy with your DREAM HOME, we will do our best to fix the problem quickly or to find you another home. (We have over 300 homes available to us!) If we are unable to find a home that meets your standards, please call us. We will work hard to try and solve any problems. It is impossible to guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong. But I can guarantee you that someone from DREAM HOMES will be available to solve any concerns promptly and courteously.

How do I pay for my rental?

To secure your reservation, you must pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is required 30 days prior to your arrival. We will send you the authorization form for the approved charges. We are happy to accept cash, travelerīs checks, money order, cashierīs check, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Diners.

Where do I check in?

At the DREAM HOMES check-in center. (We mail you directions when you reserve, but you can go to the location map page and/or the directions page to see exactly where we are located.) If you arrive after hours, your key will be ready for you in the lock box. (The code to the lock box is included in your mailed directions.) If you have any questions or problems, you will have a number to reach us 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

How far is my DREAM HOME from the check-in center?

As you can see on our location map page, our homes are conveniently located not far from our check-in center and right beside Disney World, placing us in a convenient location to service you.

How old are your homes?

We feature newer homes, townhomes, and condos - the average age of our properties is two to three years! Our oldest homes are no older than nine years. We are continually adding new properties to service you. Take a look at our homes and condos on our view homes page and you will see the high quality we offer. Without proper maintenance, any property can become dreary in just a few months. Therefore, we keep our homes and condos very well maintained.

Which home will I be in?

If you reserved a home with Dream Homes Deluxe, you already know exactly which home you will be in and what it looks like. If you reserved one of our "Best Value" properties, you will not know the location of your home until you arrive. However, when you look at the pictures of the homes, townhomes, and condos we have to offer, you will notice how beautiful our properties are. When you place your reservation, we guarantee you will receive the number of bedroom and baths you ordered (occasionally guests are upgraded to additional bedrooms and bath at no additional charge) and you will be less than 10 minutes to Disney World. When you place a hotel reservation, you donīt expect the front desk to say, "Oh, and when you arrive, you will be in room 222." In the same way, when you place a "Best Value" reservation with us, we will not assign you a specific address until closer to your arrival date. It will be based on the arrival and departure of other guests, availability of properties, last minute change requests, and contingent upon our maintenance schedule. Although we do our very best to provide you with everything you want, every now and then, a guest reserving a "Best Value" home may make a special request, which we will promise to do our best to honor. However, if, due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot honor that request, the guest will need to accept the type of home reserved without the special request being available.

Do the homes look like the ones on the Internet?

They should-We took those pictures ourselves with a digital camera at the very homes we are offering for rent!

What all is provided in the home?

So much, it's tough to list it all. All linens and towels are provided. There is at least one cable TV, a VCR, and a music system. There is a pullout sofa bed. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and blender along with all dishes and utensils. There is a two-car garage, washer & dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, and even a hair dryer. Is there anything else you require? Just give us a call and we will do our best to service you.

Is there anything that is not provided?

There are a few things you may want to be sure to pack. We do not provide the large pool towels. You will need these because the pool water would bleach out the bathroom towels. Some homes do not provide washcloths. Also, unlike a hotel, we do not have a supplies closet just down the hall, so we are unable to provide the small "consumable" items that are necessary. This would include things like dishwashing soap, hand soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, spices, coffee, sugar, cream, even toilet paper. Usually, the previous guest has left you with a starter supply that you will, most likely, add to and then leave some behind for the next guest. You may want to pack a little starter kit with these items in case the home is fresh out.

Our guests have all kinds of questions about their dream vacation. We welcome them! What is it you want to know - Where to play golf? Where to fish? Where is the local place of worship? Whatever you need, we will be more than happy to help you find it. Just let your rental agent know.
